H. (§19.21) Objections to Interrogatories

Upon receipt of interrogatories, counsel should review them thoroughly to determine if any objection needs to be made. Objections must be signed by counsel and made within 30 days of the service of the interrogatories. See Rule 57.01(c)(1) and (5). Objections must be stated in detail. Rule 57.01(c)(3). It is not a basis for objection “that the information sought will be inadmissible at the trial if the information sought appears reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.” Rule 56.01(b)(1).
