A. (§19.1) Scope of Chapter

This chapter will be an effort to relate the discovery methods, formal and informal, generally available in civil litigation to the specific circumstances and issues prevalent in dissolution of marriage and child custody matters. Rules 56.01 through 61.01 cover formal discovery methods of:

depositions upon oral examination or written questions;

written interrogatories;

production of documents or things;

permission to enter upon land or other property for inspection...
