F. (§18.8) Photographs and Videos

Photographs are authenticated when a witness familiar with what the photograph portrays testifies that it accurately depicts what it purports to portray. Rust & Martin, Inc. v. Ashby, 671 S.W.2d 4, 8 (Mo. App. S.D. 1984). At the very least, the witness’s testimony must give rise to a reasonable inference that the photograph is an accurate portrayal of what it depicts. Id.
