4. (§18.40) Trees and Shrubs
In Tong v. Kincaid, 47 S.W.3d 418, 420 (Mo. App. S.D. 2001), the court held that the proper measure of damages for bulldozing a neighbor’s trees and shrubs was the cost of restoration, or the difference in value of the property before and after the bulldozing, whichever was less.
