A. (§18.26) In General

Generally, extrinsic evidence can only be admitted to determine a testator’s intent from the language used in the will. In re Estate of Fowler, 338 S.W.2d 44 (Mo. 1960). If there is no ambiguity, extrinsic evidence cannot be admitted to show a different intention of the testator from that afforded by the plain language of the will. See:
