A. (§18.1) Scope of Chapter

The purpose of this chapter is to outline the statutory and common law used to construe wills and trusts. The laws used to construe wills and trusts are generally the same, though there are differences in the jurisdiction of the courts to hear these matters, as discussed in §§18.5–18.9 below.
