In deciding whether the child is a proper subject to be dealt with under the Juvenile Code, Chapter 211, RSMo, the court must consider:

· the age of the child, § 211.071.6(7), RSMo Supp. 2010; and

· racial disparity in certification, § 211.071.6(10).

Because a child of any age alleged to have committed one of the offenses listed in §14.4 above is subjected to a mandatory certification hearing, age is an important factor.
