The Missouri court of appeals has interpreted the MPA to permit injunctive relief only in actions brought by the Attorney General. Scott v. Blue Springs Ford Sales, Inc.,
215 S.W.3d 145 (Mo. App. W.D. 2006). The provisions for injunctive relief appear in § 407.100.1, 2000, which says, specifically, “[w]henever it appears to the attorney general . . . the attorney general may seek . . . an injunction.” This disallows private causes of action from trying to prohibit similar acts in the future...
