Employers are required to provide the following types of notice to employees:

• Covered employers must post notices in conspicuous areas explaining the FMLA’s provisions and procedures for filing complaints of FMLA violations. 29 C.F.R. § 825.300. Willful violations of this provision may be assessed a $100 civil penalty per offense by the Secretary of Labor (the Secretary). 29 U.S.C. § 2619(b); 29 C.F.R. § 825.300(b)
