No violations of the duty of fair representation were found in the following cases:

• Bodecker v. Local Union No. P-46, 640 F.2d 182 (8^th Cir. 1981) (no duty of fair representation violation in failing to fully disclose terms of contract amendments or in telling employees that employer would close operations if contract not amended)

• Hamilton v. Consolidated Freightways, 612 F.2d 343 (8^th Cir. 1979) (no violation for union to delay handling of warning letters until employee is suspended or discharged...
