1. (§16.20) Missouri Works

The Missouri Works Program was designed to consolidate and replace various state tax credit incentives previously offered under Missouri law. See §§ 620.2000–620.2020, RSMo 2016. As a result, Missouri will no longer authorize state tax credits for projects that had not received approval before August 28, 2013, for:

· the development tax credit program under §§ 32.100–32.125, RSMo 2016;

· the rebuilding communities tax credit program under § 135.535, RSMo 2016;

· the EEZ program; or

· the Missouri quality jobs program under §§ 620.1875–620.1890, RSMo 2016.

But governing authorities may continue to provide local tax abatement and to designate new zones under the EEZ program. Section 620.2020.13, RSMo 2016.
