M. (§16.15) Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreements
Missouri statutes expressly authorize political subdivisions to cooperate by written agreement with:
· other political subdivisions;
· agencies of the State of Missouri or of other states;
· the federal government; or
· any private person, firm, association, or corporation,
provided that the undertaking lies within the scope of the powers of the contracting political subdivision. Section 70.220.1, RSMo 2016.
