“Property may be seized by attachment in the same manner as it may be levied upon pursuant to Rule 76,” the rule governing executions. Rule 85.21. The court may appoint a receiver to oversee the property, Rule 85.22, or, after “reasonable notice if the giving of notice is practicable,” order the property’s immediate sale—under Rule 76.13 for personal property—if the property is likely to perish or depreciate in value a considerable extent or if keeping the property will cause undue expense.
