3. (§15.5) Property Excluded by Valid Written Agreement

Written antenuptial and postnuptial agreements, if valid, provide an additional exception to the marital property presumption. The parties to a marriage may contract, either before or during the marriage, to treat property in any number of ways in the event of a divorce.
