C. (§15.38) Committing Person as a Sexually Violent Predator

The required finding to commit a defendant as an SVP is that the defendant has a mental abnormality that predisposes the defendant to commit sexually violent offenses in a degree causing the defendant serious difficulty in controlling the behavior. In re Amonette v. State,
