In Tambone v. Tambone, 162 S.W.3d 1, 4 (Mo. App. E.D. 2004), the court found that proceeds from the wife’s wrongful death suit for her mother’s death were the wife’s separate property. Wrongful death suits are statutory causes of action under §§ 537.080 et seq., RSMo 2000 and Supp. 2011.
