O. (§15.31) Severance of Unity of Possession and Title to Property
One of the many goals of the dissolution of marriage law, §§ 452.300–452.425, RSMo 2000 and Supp. 2011, is to eliminate any carryover of the animosity of a divorce by terminating all unity of possession, as well as unity of title, between the spouses when awarding a just division of marital property.
