G. (§15.23) Review
Section 472.160, RSMo 2000, establishes the court actions that can be appealed. The right to appeal in a probate proceeding is purely statutory. Estate of McCormack v. McCormack, 676 S.W.2d 928 (Mo. App. E.D. 1984). Appeals are allowed to any interested party and because the only interested party in a minor’s proceeding is the minor (with the exception of conflicts, § 475.097.2, RSMo 2000) (see also Estate of Sturmfels v. Frederick, 261 S.W.3d 559 (Mo. App. E.D. 2008)), if a minor wants to appeal an order, it would probably necessitate the appointment of a GAL. The following are the relevant actions that can be appealed in a minor’s proceeding:
(1) On the allowance of any claim against an estate exceeding one hundred dollars;
