3. (§15.18) To Obtain Release on Bond

Habeas corpus is one of the procedures by which a person charged with an offense may obtain release on bail. State v. Dodson, 556 S.W.2d 938, 945 (Mo. App. E.D. 1977). The normal way of contesting the denial of bail or the amount of bail is through Rules 33.05, 33.06, and 33.09.
