6. (§15.14) Duty of Prosecuting Attorney
Upon the filing of a petition for habeas corpus by a person held in custody on a criminal charge, the petitioner must give reasonable notice of the time and place of the filing to the prosecuting attorney for the county in which the petition is filed if the prosecuting attorney is in the county at the time.
