2. (§15.10) The Hearing, Orders, and Enforcement
The person receiving service of the writ must produce the restrained person at the hearing unless the court orders otherwise. Rule 91.16. At the hearing, the court shall hear and determine the matter. Rule 91.17. “If no legal cause is shown for the restraint, the court shall forthwith order the person discharged.” Rule 91.18.
