I. (§15.1) Introduction

This chapter deals with the manner and process by which municipal boundaries are created and changed. Boundary changes can have many implications for real property, ranging from what uses can be made of the property (zoning jurisdiction) to who provides basic services (e.g., police protection, trash removal, street maintenance) to the rate of sales tax residents pay for goods and services.
