Section 14 Urban Homesteading

Sections 99.875–99.912, RSMo 2000, establish an Urban Homesteading Program, which provides for reutilization of abandoned, tax-delinquent properties. Local adoption of the Program can be accomplished by:

establishing a special board or commission; or authorizing an existing municipal board, commission, department, or agency—including a housing or redevelopment authority or a not-for-profit community development corporation—to administer the program.
