In Vega-Rodriguez v. Puerto Rico Telephone Co., 110 F.3d 174, 176
(1^st Cir. 1997), a quasi-public company installed surveillance in a large employee work area. Employees brought suit, alleging that the surveillance violated their Fourth Amendment rights. The court stated that the Fourth Amendment is only violated if “the challenged conduct infringes upon some reasonable expectation of privacy.” Vega-Rodriguez, 110 F.3d at 178.
