In the Revised Code, delivery of a controlled substance is combined with the offense of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance to a minor. In the Original Code, delivery of any amount of controlled substance to a person under 17 years of age and at least 2 years younger than the defendant is a class B felony. See §195.212 (transferred to §579.020). The Revised Code limits the application of the class B felony to delivery of any amount of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. Section...
