N. (§14.33) Death of Protectee

Section 475.320.1, RSMo 2000, sets out a procedure whereby the estate of the deceased protectee may be distributed by the conservator without the appointment of a personal representative except when a protectee dies leaving a valid will or debts other than:

funeral and burial expenses;

taxes for which the estate is liable;

obligations incurred by the conservator; or

expenses of administration.
