K. (§14.30) Investments

The conservator has an affirmative duty to invest the liquid assets of the protectee unless they are required for some other lawful purpose. Investments made on or after August 28, 2009, must be made in accordance with the Missouri Prudent Investor Act, §§ 469.900–469.913, RSMo Supp. 2008, except that the following investments shall constitute prudent investments:

· obligations of the United States;

· obligations unconditionally guaranteed by the United States; and
