2. (§14.25) Sale or Disposition Without Authority of Court

Under the authority of § 475.130.5, RSMo Supp. 2008, a conservator has authority to sell or dispose of estate assets without court authorization or approval as follows:

· Settle, abandon, or compromise a claim in favor of the estate that does not exceed $1,000

· Sell or exchange personal property or interests in it worth $1,000 or less
