D. (§14.20) Multiple-Party Accounts and Joint Property

A conservator is not permitted to disturb the estate plan of the protectee except as is necessary to provide funds for the protectee’s needs. This principle is codified as to certain jointly held assets and assets designating a beneficiary by § 475.322, RSMo 2000. This property can be in the form of:

co-ownership bonds;

funds in a joint account;

an account payable on death to another;

an account upon revocable trust for another; or
