Section 14 Mitigation of Damages Through Evidence of Bad Reputation

Evidence of a plaintiff’s bad reputation is admissible to reduce the compensatory damages to be awarded to the plaintiff. See:

Rodefer v. Brooking, 229 S.W. 826, 828 (Mo. App. E.D. 1921)
