1. (§13.78) Vestibules

A substantial number of slip-and-fall cases have occurred in store vestibules either by reason of their alleged inherent slipperiness or slipperiness resulting from a combination of the floor surface and water. As with any other area, an owner or occupant has a duty to exercise ordinary care to keep the vestibule in a reasonably safe condition for pedestrians.
