1. (§13.5) Scope of Invitation

A possessor’s liability for the condition of the possessor’s premises as to a particular invitee is only co-extensive with the scope of the invitation. An injured visitor must be able to prove that:

· the entry onto the premises was for at least a mutual benefit of both the possessor and the visitor;
· at the time of the injury, the visitor was on that part of the premises the visitor was invited to enter; and
· the visitor was using the premises in a manner authorized by the possessor.
