A. (§13.49) Duties

While an innkeeper is not an insurer of guests’ safety, the law recognizes a special relationship between innkeepers and guests so as to impose on the innkeepers affirmative duties to protect guests’ persons and property. Lonnecker v. Borris, 229 S.W.2d 524 (Mo. 1950); Corley v. Andrews, 349 S.W.2d 395, 398 (Mo. App. E.D. 1961).
