A. (§13.26) Non-Medical Professional Liability
Professionals in a wide variety of specialties may be subject to claims of malpractice. For example, architects and contractors must exercise the reasonable care required in their professions. Chubb Group of Ins. Cos. v. C.F. Murphy & Assocs., Inc., 656 S.W.2d 766 (Mo. App. W.D. 1983). There is no reason why the use of expert witnesses as a source of proof in these actions would be subject to differing rules.
