Under NLRA § 8(b)(1)(A), 29 U.S.C. § 158(b)(1)(A), it is an unfair labor practice for a labor organization or its agents to restrain or coerce employees in the exercise of the rights guaranteed in NLRA § 7, 29 U.S.C. § 157. But a labor organization’s right to prescribe its own rules with respect to the acquisition or retention of membership cannot be impaired.
