Section 12 Deceptive or Unfair Practices

The prohibitions of § 407.020, RSMo Supp. 2010, are construed broadly to reach any deception or unfair practice, including the concealment of facts. The MMPA does not require proof of all of the elements of common-law fraud. Clement v. St. Charles Nissan, Inc., 103 S.W.3d 898 (Mo. App. E.D. 2003); State ex rel. Webster v. Milbourn, 759 S.W.2d 862 (Mo. App. E.D. 1988).
