2. (§12.23) Judicial Closing

In their wisdom, the drafters of the independent administration provisions provided for a judicial closing. Section 473.837, RSMo 2000. This could be desirable because of difficulties that have arisen during administration between the independent personal representative and interested persons, because of tax problems, or because the independent personal representative and counsel want a discharge promptly.
