5. (§12.22) General Conditions

If neither the original nor the modified total cost method is applicable and if the court with jurisdiction does not apply the jury verdict method to allow damages, the damages analysis must specifically identify the effect of the delay on each component of increased costs, isolating and quantifying the increased costs attributable to the delay. Five components requiring particular attention are:

1. general conditions;

2. office overhead;

3. equipment;

4. productivity; and

5. interest.
