3. (§12.18) Sales
Sales of estate assets by the independent personal representative are contemplated without any court action and without reporting to either the court or interested parties except in the statement of account at the close of administration. The statutory scheme protects the good-faith purchaser from any duty to inquire into the propriety of the sale. Section 473.811.1, RSMo 2000.
