Section 11 Union Unfair Labor Practices

NLRA § 8(b), 29 U.S.C. § 158(b), defines certain unfair labor practices engaged in by unions. These practices include:

• coercion or restraint of employees or employers

• coercion or attempts to coerce discrimination under union shop contracts for reasons other than nonpayment of uniform dues or membership fees

• refusal to bargain in good faith

• engaging in unlawful strikes or boycotts

• excessive or discriminatory initiation fees or fines;
