E. (§11.7) Transfers Ordered by the Supreme Court of Missouri After an Opinion by the Missouri Court of Appeals

Rule 83.04 specifies that a case may be transferred by order of the Supreme Court after an intermediate appellate court opinion is filed:

· if the opinion filed is contrary to a previous decision of an appellate court of Missouri;

· if an issue of general interest or importance is involved; or

· to reexamine the existing law.
