C. (§11.7) Timeliness

In order to effectively use either an objection or a motion to strike, it must be employed at the earliest opportunity. Soutee v. Dir. of Revenue, State of Mo., 977 S.W.2d 313, 315–16 (Mo. App. S.D. 1998); Krieger v. Dir. of Revenue, State of Mo., 14 S.W.3d 697, 702 (Mo. App. E.D. 2000). If the objectionable character of the evidence is apparent when it is offered or introduced, the objection should be made then. Cruce v. Auto-Owners Mut. Ins. Co., 851 S.W.2d 10 (Mo.
