15. (§11.34) Polling the Jury

The right to poll a civil jury is not provided for by the Rules but, instead, is a matter of common law existing for over 100 years. St. Louis County v. Pennington, 830 S.W.2d 553, 554 (Mo. App. E.D. 1992). The polling of the jury is limited to asking each juror, “Is this your verdict?” Id. at 554.
