Payment of the judgment by the condemning entity does not prohibit or preclude the entity from appealing the amount of the verdict or judgment.

A.R.S. § 12-1127 provides that the condemning entity must pay the full amount of the judgment after the judgment, pending appeal, in order to take possession of the property or continue in possession of the property, until conclusion of the litigation.
