9. (§11.17) Claims

It is the general rule that there is no privity between the administration of an estate in two or more states. The establishment of a claim against the estate of a decedent in another state does not establish that claim against the estate in Missouri. It is not even evidence of that claim in Missouri. The cause of action is not merged in the judgment establishing the claim, but it must be proved anew in Missouri in the same manner and within the time required by the nonclaim statute. First Nat.
