8. (§11.16) Procedure
As stated in §11.11 above, it is now established that the administration in Missouri of the estate of a nonresident decedent is an independent proceeding and conducted solely under Missouri authority. Section 473.668, RSMo 2000. This administration shall be had and conducted in Missouri in the same manner as if the decedent had been a resident of Missouri, except as otherwise provided by statute.
