Section 11.12 Verdict and Findings

A.R.S. § 12-1122(A) requires the trial court or jury to determine the value of the part taken, severance damages, and special benefits, and § 12-1122(B) specifically requires that compensation be determined for each source of damage separately. In addition, § 12-1122(A) requires that compensation as to each separate estate, interest, or parcel in the subject property be separately addressed.

Forms of verdict should segregate the items of damage and values to the extent practicable.
