If the claim for damages from a breach of an employment contract is liquidated and readily ascertainable, prejudgment interest shall be awarded. Comens v. SSM St. Charles Clinic Med. Group, Inc., 335 S.W.3d 76, 82 (Mo. App. E.D. 2011). “The award of prejudgment interest in a case in which [S]ection 408.020 is applicable is not a matter of court discretion; it is compelled.” Id.
