The court in State v. Hoff, 904 S.W.2d 56 (Mo. App. S.D. 1995), admitted a new type of DNA test into evidence, polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This new type of DNA testing was not challenged in a pretrial Frye v. United States, 293 F. 1013 (D.C.
