B. (§10.26) Filing of the Notice of Appeal

An appeal is taken by the appellant or his or her agent or attorney by filing a notice of appeal in the trial court. A notice of appeal must be filed within ten days after the judgment or order appealed from has become final. In a criminal case the sentence is a final judgment. See:
